These pictures presented are some of the complicated cases that we have treated in our facility. Some of these patients presented in a wheelchair and some were very limited in their ability to move around. Following the treatment they made significant gains and were able to return to activities of daily living. We follow the recommendations of your surgeon. We offer many forms of treatment.

One of our concern's is the healing process of your surgical scar. We monitor this process and make sure that there are no signs of infection. You may have pain or a loss of sensation at the site of the scar and we work to correct this by either utilizing sensitization or desensitization techniques.

When your surgical scar has healed we can utilize water therapy. This allows us to improve your joint movement without the impact of gravity. We can strengthen the muscles and ligaments without straining the surgical hardware.

Our physical therapist will provide soft tissue mobilization in order to restore normal joint movements without placing your joint in a weight bearing position. Once this is achieved you will begin strengthening exercises to return you to your normal lifestyle.
